Floors by Matt recently replaced the vinyl in both bathrooms in the Old Navy store in Ladue, MO. Matt owes a great deal of gratitude to Kevin Bridges for teaching him how to lay 6' stock vinyl. Cutting vinyl is pretty difficult and you only get one chance. Matt uses a scorer and then a knife to cut vinyl. You can see in the before picture, that the previous installer left a large unsightly seam in the middle of the vinyl due to the 6' size rolls. We are proud to say that in the after picture, no seams are visible. Matt was taught to seam vinyl by his dear friend Kevin many years ago. Thanks again Kevin.
A bathroom is just a bathroom, right? Bathrooms are there to serve our most basic needs, but bathrooms can be so much more. Bathrooms offer a few minutes of quiet in our often hectic lives. Few things are as relaxing as a hot bath or shower. Relaxing comes much easier when the view is easy on the eyes. The bathroom shown in the pic to the left if floored with a Marazzi Montagna in Saddle brown. This wood-look ceramic tile was installed with 1/16"dark grey grout lines to make the wood look even more realistic. This tile is cool to the touch, durable enough to hold up to rottweilers and cleans up like a dream. Ceramic tile can also be installed with radiant heat to create a cold-weather retreat. Let Floors by Matt help make your bathroom into your own private luxury resort.
While Matt has been installing floors for upwards of 15 years, some of his crew members don't have quite that much experience. Floors by Matt recently completed a job laying ceramic tile for a wonderful customer. When Matt noticed that a few of the tiles didn't look quite up to his expectation, he helped the crew remove those pieces and lay them again, so that the final outcome would be perfect. It set us back time on our own dollar, but that's our level of dedication to you. Your project will be perfect when we complete it. As a result, Floors by Matt received our first five star rating on homeadvisor.com!
